How the arena works

A hall, not a chair

Ordinary VR keeps you in one spot. Here the game space matches the real hall: where your feet go, your character goes.

  1. Briefing

    Put on the headset, check the connection. Five minutes and you are in the game.

  2. Start zones

    Teams start from opposite ends of the hall, 15 metres apart, and see each other as characters.

  3. Cover

    The hall's columns and walls match the cover in the game, so you really can hide behind them.

How does a session go?
Arrive 10 minutes early. The instructor fits the gear and shows the controls, then the team enters the game for 50 minutes. The whole session is 1 hour.
What is the minimum age?
From age 6. Some games are 16+; the age is shown on each game card.
How many people can play?
1 to 10 at once: 10 headsets, 5 vs 5 or everyone together against the game.
Is it safe?
An instructor is always on the floor. The hall boundaries are drawn in VR: you see them as you approach. Headsets are sanitised after every team.
Does VR cause motion sickness?
Almost never in free-roam: you walk on your own feet and the picture matches your body's movement.
How do I pay and cancel?
Book online with no prepayment, pay on site. We remind you 24 hours and 2 hours before. Cancel or reschedule by phone.
